Permits
If you plan to place your skip on public land, such as a road, pavement, or verge, you’ll need a permit from your local council. This ensures the skip is positioned legally and doesn’t cause any safety or accessibility issues.
Don’t worry—we can handle the application process for you, liaising with your council to arrange the necessary paperwork and approvals. Permit costs and processing times vary depending on the council, so it’s best to book your skip early to allow enough time.
If your skip will be placed entirely on private property, like a driveway or garden, a permit isn’t required, but you’ll need to ensure there’s enough space for safe delivery and collection. Placing a skip on public land without a permit could result in fines or removal, so let us take care of everything to ensure compliance. If you’re unsure or have any questions, just get in touch with our team—we’re here to help!
